Zenas "Bill" Beesley
"Bill" Beesley, 63, of Nampa, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 1991, at
his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m.
Monday, October 14, 1991, at the Nampa 5th Ward, Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Sunnyridge Road.
Bishop Jay Fuhriman, bishop of the ward, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Hillcrest memorial Gardens.
Services and interment are under the direction of Alsip
Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Senas Will " Bill" Beesley was born on April 20, 1928, at Pocatello to
William and Minnie Norman Beesely. He was reared and
attended schools in Pocatello.
After his schooling he worked for the Union Pacific Railroad
and later was employed at the Kraft Food Co. in Pocatello.
He married Lois A. Ricks on Nov. 18, 1952, at the Idaho Falls,
L.D.S. Temple He entered the U.S. Army and served during
the Korean conflict. He was honorably discharged and
returned to Idaho.
They later moved to Las Vegas, Nev., and in November of 1955
they came to Nampa. He worked at Simplots in Caldwell
and also at Amalgamated Sugar Company in Nampa for several
years. he also worked in the construction business.
For the last seven years he has been employed at Mercy Medical
in the housekeeping division
He was a member of the Nampa 5th Ward, L.D.S. Church.
Bill is survived by his wife, Lois, of Nampa; four daughters,
Cheryl (Mrs. Stanley) Winder, Great Lakes, Ill., Janice (Mrs.
Spence) Hill, Cedar City, Utah, Renae (Mrs. Doug) Ratterree,
Battle Mountain, Nev., and Trina Harrod of Nampa; four sons,
Bill Beesley and his wife, Julie, of Juna, Daron Beesley and
his wife, Noreen, of Emmett, Falen Beesley, U.S. Army, Fort
Bliss, Texas, and Joel Beesley of Nampa.
He also is survived by one brother, Hibbert N. Beesley, Port
Orchard, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Hammond, Aurora, Ore.;
26 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, one
son, three grandchildren and one niece.
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel from 9 a.m. to 9
p.m. today, and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. on Monday at the Nampa
5th Ward. The family suggests memorial contributions to
the Hospice Program, Mercy Medical Center, 1512 12th Ave.
Road, Nampa, Idaho 83686, or flowers may be sent.
