CALDWELL - Graveside funeral services for DeForest C.
Cornwell, 79, Parma, who died Thursday in a Caldwell hospital,
will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Roswell Cemetery by the
Rev. Robert Obenchain, Roswell Baptist Church.
He was born March 20, 1898, in Paola, Kans. He
was reared in Nebraska. He married Vesta Riggs March 19,
1919 at Pender, Neb. They moved to Idaho in 1920, and
lived in the Wilder and Parma areas. Mrs. Cornwell died
Dec. 14, 1966.
He is survived by four daughters, Arlene Abbott and
Mrs. Gerald (Naomi) Thomas, both of Parma. Mrs. Don
(Esther) Lundblood, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Terry (Janet)
Stone, Caldwell; eight sons, Merlin and Leonard, of Donnelly,
Floyd and Norman of Parma. Charles of Hermiston, Ore.,
Doyle, of Ashland, Ore., David, of Caldwell, and Ralph
Cornwell, Boise; five brothers; two sisters; 32 grandchildren
and 20 great-grandchildren. |
