Denver Hickox, 70, of 810 Dearborn St., a retired farmer, died
yesterday afternoon at his home.
Mr. Hickox was born Feb. 6, 1884, Denver, Colo. He married Margaret
Davis June 20 1909, in Hood River, Ore. The couple lived in
Vancouver, Wash., from 1909 to 1914. They lived in Portland,
Ore., for 10 years and moved to Wilder in 1932. He farmed near
Wilder until 1939, when he retired and the couple moved to
Caldwell.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers, L.
L. Hickox, Caldwell, and T. M. Hickox, in Washington; a
sister, Mrs. Abagale Williams, Fruitland, and a granddaughter,
Mrs. Kaye Cockrane, of Caldwell. Two sons preceded him in
death, Volney Eugene in 1932, and Ernest W. in 1945.
Services are pending at Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel. |
