They were married 27 October, 1868 in
St-Benoit, Québec, Canada
Also, Maurice was born in St-Benoît, Deux-Montagnes, Québec

DEATH OF NAMPA PIONEER

M. Lalande, Victim of Chronic Affliction, Dies Sunday Evening

     NAMPA - M. LaLande, rancher and a resident of this community for 13 years, died at his home on Twelfth Avenue, Sunday evening about 5 o'clock.  Death was due to an asthmatic affection from which deceased had suffered for several years.
    Mr. LaLande was a native of Canada and was 73 years of age.  He left Canada for Montana in 1892 and moved to this section in 1901.  He is survived by his wife and five children - the latter being Mrs. Jacob Carron, Mrs. Frank Clement and Maruice, Max and Ullric LaLande, all of whom reside in Nampa and vicinity.
    The funeral will be held at 9:30 a. m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Catholic church and burial will be in the Catholic cemetery.
