PARMA - Funeral services for
Willmer D. Cole, 84, Parma Route 1, who died Sunday at a Nampa
nursing home, will be held at the Peckham-Dakan Chapel at
Calewell at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The Rev. Robert Obenchain of the Notus Baptist Church
will officiate. Interment will be at Lower Boise
Cemetery east of Parma.
Mr. Cole was born Nov. 3, 1882, in Wabash, Ind., and
was married Oct. 15, 1906, in Vernon County, Mo., to Clara
Nehring. They live in Guthrie, Okla., and in Missouri
until 1920, when they moved to the Nampa-Caldwell area.
The Coles farmed in theRiverside community south of
here from 1926-1940, when they moved to Parma. He
retired in 1944. Mrs. Cole died Dec. 29, 1943.
Mr. Cole was a member of the Notus Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Donald Cole, Parma, and Glenn
S. Cole, Boise; eight daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Padour and Mrs.
Lela Mutch, Boise, Mrs. Viola Alup, Moses Lake, Wash., Mrs.
Wilma Alsup, Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs. Mary Bradley, Parma,
Mrs. Bonnie Taylor, Eagle, and Mrs. Dorothy Hill, Sweet; 334
grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Notus Baptist Church. |
