Mrs. Van Meter
Dies Saturday
At Homedale

     Mrs. Anna Bertha Van Meter, 62, wife of George Van Meter of Homedale died at the family home Saturday night.  She was born in Knox Count, Neb., Sept. 26, 1879 and came to Homedale from South Dakota in 1935.
     Survivors besides her husband include two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Sanders and Miss Ruth Van Meter both of Homedale;  one son Clarence Van Meter of Homedale; six brothers, Ed Zercher, Henry Zercher, Fred Zercher all of Homedale;  George and Frank Zercher both of Crafton, Neb.;  David Zercher, who resides in Washington;  two sisters, Mrs. Kate Deamond, who resides in South Dakota and Miss Minnie Zercher of Homedale;  seven grandchildren.
     Services will be held at the Peckham chapel Thursday at 2:30 p. m.  Interment will be in the Wilder cemetery.
