Funeral services for
Anthony “Andy” Henry Nau, 17, of Middleton who died Sunday,
Sept.3, 1990, in a drowning accident near Emmett, will be
conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at the Middleton Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Fred L. Lewis
of the Middleton 3rd Ward, officiating. Burial will
follow in the Middleton Cemetery. Services are under the
direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel.
Andy Nau was born Dec. 31, 1972, at Caldwell. He was
reared and educated in the Caldwell area having attended
schools in the Vallivue School District. He graduated Aug.29,
1990, from the Columbia Basin Job Corps in Moses Lake, Wash.,
where he received his G.F.D. and a certificate in culinary
arts. He enjoyed skate boarding and snow boarding in the
winter months. He also enjoyed flying with his dad and loved
to be outside.
Andy is survived by his father and stepmother, Howard and
Wendy Nau, Meridian, his mother and stepfather, Verta and
Steve Black, Middleton; three brothers, Drew Black and Brydon
Nau, both of Middleton and Jamie Nau, Meridian; four sisters,
Nancy and Tami Bean, both of Meridian, Bree Black, Middleton
and Tina Nau, Meridian, his paternal grandparents, Raymond and
Lois Nau, Caldwell, his maternal grandmother, Leota McKnight,
Nampa; his stepgrandparents, Harry and Carla Pitman, Nampa,
and Raymond and Wilma Black, Middleton, several aunts, uncles
and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather,
Henry McKnight and an uncle, Jon Curtis.
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today until
9 p.m., Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon and at the church on
Thursday from 1 to 1:45 p.m. The family will greet friends at
the Alsip Funeral Chapel on Wednesday evening from 6 to 7:30
p.m. |
