Services for Alfonso
Neal Stanfield 60, Caldwell, Route 2, who died today at his
home, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Greenleaf
Friends church. The Rev. Scott Clark will officiate.
Mr. Stanfield was born Dec. 29, 1899 at Alton, Kans.,
where he grew up. He married Ida Kent at Pond Creek,
Okla., on Aug 3, 1922 and they lived there until 1938 when
they came to Greenleaf, Idaho. They farmed near
Greenleaf until two years ago when they moved into town.
He was a member of the Friends church.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, Ida Stanfield of
Greenleaf, include two sons, Paul, of Newburg, Ore., and Neal
of Caldwell; five daughters, Grace King and Gertrude Branscum
of Caldwell, Geneva Chadwick, Seattle, Wash., Vest Conant, San
Diego, Calif., and Alma Johnson, Portland; two sisters, Eva
Wornken and Lavina Amick, both of Fort Scott, Kans., and 16
grandchildren.
Interment will be in Greenleaf under the direction of
the Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel. |
