Bessie E. Grimm
Dies Feb. 17


     Bessie Estella Grimm, 69, died at her home in Middleton, yesterday afternoon.  She was born March 21, 1875 at Concordia, Kan.
     She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Grimm of Middleton; three daughters, Mrs. A. B. Fairchild of Buhl, Ella Mae Grimm of Eugene, Ore., and Mrs. R. Robert Wells of Middleton; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Upchurch of Inkom, Idaho; and two brothers, George Hibner of Wanic, Ore., and Oscar Hibner of Bellingham.
     Funeral arrangements are for 2:00 p. m., Monday, Feb. 21, at the Middleton Baptist church with the Rev. Paul Felthouse of Payette assisted by the Rev. Charles Brown of Middleton in charge.  Interment will be at Middleton.
     The Grimm family moved from Kansas in 1910 to Bancroft, Idaho, where they homesteaded for ten years.  In 1920, they moved to Buhl and in 1936, move to Middleton where they now reside.

     Mrs. Bessie Estella Grimm was born in Concordia, Kan., March 21, 1875 and passed away Feb. 17, 1944, at the age of 68 years, 10 months, and 27 days.
     Her maiden name was Bessie Hibner.  She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Hibner, and was married to R. E. Grimm in Kansas City, Mor., Aug. 18, 1902.  To this union was born three daughters, viz; Mrs. A. B. Fairchild of Buhl, Idaho, Ella Mae Grimm of Eugene, Ore., and Mrs. R. Robert Wells of Buhl, Idaho.
     In 1910 they moved from Concordia, Kan., to Bancroft, Idaho, where they took up a homestead.  In 1910 they moved from Concordia, Kan., to Bancroft, Idaho, where they took up a homestead.  In 1920, they moved to Buhl, Idaho where Mr. Grimm established a garage and blacksmith shop.  Here they made many friends.  In 1936 they moved to Middleton where they have since lived.
     The deceased was a member of the Christian Science Church.  She leaves besides her three daughters, her husband, R. E. Grimm, two brothers, George F. Hibner of Wanie, Ore., and Oscar L. Hibner of Bellingham, Wash., and one sister Mr. Minnie Upchurch of Inkom, Idaho, besides many other relatives and friends.
     Funeral services were held in the Middleton Baptist church Feb. 21 at 2 p. m.  Rev. Paul Felthouse of Payette assisted by Rev. C. E. Brown the local pastor conducted the services.  Interment was at Middleton.
