Mrs. R. Torbett
Dies At Home
This Morning


     Mrs. Robert Torbett of West Linden street died at the family home this morning about 8:30 o'clock.  Ill for several years, Mrs. Torbett suffered a stroke Jan. 13 from which she failed to rally.
     Mr. and Mrs. Torbett came from Saratoga, Wyo., to Caldwell July 7, 1916 and have resided continuously at their present location.
     The survivors include besides her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Tobius of Pendleton, Ore., and three grandsons.
     The body is at the Peckham funeral home where arrangements are pending until Mrs. Tobius' arrival some time late this afternoon.

Funeral Rites For
Mrs. R. Torbett
To Be Saturday


     Funeral services for Cordelia Jane Torbett, 72, wife of Robert J. Torbett, Caldwell route four, will be held at the Peckham chapel Saturday at 4:30 p.m.  The Rev. W. F. Morton, pastor of the Assembly of God church will officiate and burial will be in Canyon Hill cemetery.
     Born At Centralia, Mo., April 10, 1869, she moved to Wyoming and was married to Robert Torbett at Rawlings on November 12, 1900.  Mr. and Mrs Torbett came from Saratoga, Wyo., to Caldwell in 1917.  Following a ling illnes, Mrs. Torbett died at the family home Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.
     The survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Tobius of Pendleton, Ore.; two sisters Miss Virginia of Boise and Mrs. Susie Roberts of Oakland, Cal.; three grandsons, G. G. Harris, a staff sergeant at Gowen Field, Boise; James Harris and Vailie Harris both of Springfield, Mo.
