    Called By Death

C. S. Tucker, 61 Dies at Home Here Following Illness of Two Months

     C. S. Tucker, 61, a pioneer resident of Caldwell, died at his home here Thursday morning following an illness of little more than two months.  The body is at the Peckham funeral chapel.
     Mr. Tucker came to Idaho at the age of 19 years with an older brother.  He was employed near Succor creek for several years.  He then returned east to Missouri and spent four years engaged in the mercantile business.  In 1902 he returned to Caldwell and engaged in the mercantile business here.  He spent the following years farming and stock raising.
     Surviving are his widow, one son, Ree M. Tucker of Caldwell, three brothers and three sisters.  Funeral servies will be held Saturday afternoon at the Peckham chapel with the Rev. A. B. Parrott and the Rev W. M. Ewing officiating.  Interment will be made in the Canyon Hill cemetery.
