Daisy F. Vinson
CALDWELL - Mrs. Daisy Frances Vinson, 91, of 1902 South 10th Ave., a lifetime Caldwell resident, died Saturday morning in her home after a short illness.
Mrs. Vinson was born June 25, 1876, in Caldwell, and was one of the first two students to be graduated from Caldwell High School in 1894. She was married Dec. 16, 1894, in Caldwell to Henry I. Vinson, and they continued to live here. The couple built the present family home in 1905, and she since had lived in the house. Mr. Vinson died Nov. 11, 1964, in Caldwell. A son, Henry Raymond Vinson, died in 1963. She was a practitioner of the Christian Science Church, being a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist of Caldwell.
Surviving are a grandson, H. R. Vinson of Caldwell; a brother, George Kinkaid of Boise; a niece, Mrs. Ardis M. Snyder of Caldwell; a nephew, Harry McConnell of Caldwell; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ruth E. Vinson of Caldwell, and three grandchildren.
Services were conducted at Dakan Chapel at 10:30 a.m. today. Edward Seymour of the Christian Science Church officiated and interment followed at Canyon Hill.
Pallbearers were Fleet Cory, Jake A. Dyer, John B. Lloyd, W. Scott Vinson, Michael B. Vinson and Ed Maurer.
Memorials may be given to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children.
