Dies Tuesday
At Homedale

George Washington
Kershner, 66, well known Homedale farmer and stockman, died
Tuesday morning at his home, following a brief illness.
The body is at the Peckham funeral home. Funeral
services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the
Community church at Homedale, with the Rev. A. A. Schmitt of
Homedale in charge. Burial will be in the Wilder
cemetery.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Kershner;
one daughter, Edna of Homedale; six sons, Pete of
Winnemucca, Nev., Clyde of Mountain City, Nev.; Leonard,
David, Henry and Bill, all of Homedale; one sister
living in Missouri.
Mr. Kershner was born March 29, 1972 at Mankata, Kan.,
where he lived before coming to Idaho, locating at Homedale in
1913. |
