James B. Barker
Of Parma Dies
Here Sunday

     James Buchanon Barker, 85, of the Parma community died at a Caldwell nursing home Sunday.
     He was born at Franklin, Ky., Jan. 3, 1857, and moved from Kentucky to Bates County, Mo., when 18 years old.  On May 10 1877, at Butler, Mo., he was married to Miss Louisa Hendricks, who preceded him in death several years ago.  With his family, My Barker came from Missouri to Idaho in 1907.  They lived at Boise for 10 years and moved to the Wilder bench in 1917.
     Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Huffman of Parma, and a son, Zed E. Barker of Pasadena, Cal.;  ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  Those who reside in Parma and Caldwell are Mrs. M. L. English and Allen B. Haas, grandchildren, and Mrs. Z. H. Cummings and Jessie Huffman, both of Parma, great grandchildren.
     The body is at the Peckham chapel.  Funeral services will be held at the Caldwell First Baptist church Wednesday at 2:30 p. m.  Burial will be in the Roswell cemetery.
