James T. Bittick

    PARMA - Services for James T. Bittick, 90, Parma, Route 1, who died Sunday at a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dakan Chapel, Parma, by the Rev. Marlin Paulson of the First Baptist Church of Roswell.  Interment will be at Roswell Cemetery.
     He was born Nov. 14, 1883, at Florilla, Mo.  He was reared and educated there and married Ethel LuAllen Dec. 18, 1904, at Florilla.  He farmed in Missouri until 1925, when he came to Roswell.  He worked for the Steele Fruit Orchards for 20 years and in 1946 began farming his own land.  He retired in 1969.
     He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Roswell.
     Surviving are a son, Clifford, of Parma; two daughters, Vada Dunaway of Parma and Viola Hoots of Wilder; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
