MIDDLETON
(Special) - James T. Wilson passed away Thursday after a
lingering illness.
Mr. Wilson was born in Clark county, Missouri, October
23, 1873. When 13 years of age he joined the Baptist
church. In 1895 he was married to Miss Winifred Fretwell.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilson came to Middleton nearly 30 years
ago. For the past 29 years he has been a member of the
local Baptist church and 16 years ago he was ordained as a
deacon in the church.
Besides the widow he leaves three daughters. Mrs.
Leona Reed of Portland. Mrs. Goldie Spohn of Seattle and
Winifred of Middleton; two sons, Herley of Eagle and Sam of
Middleton. There are also several sisters, two in
Missouri, Mrs. Sullivan of Roswell, Mrs. Rose Whipple of
Spokane, Mrs. Martha Allen of Middleton and one brother, Ray,
of California.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the
Baptist church with the Rev. M. J. McPike in charge of the
services. Interment was in the Middleton cemetery. |
