Services for John (Sam) Chaney, 62, of Middleton, who died
Monday at his home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at
the Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel, The Rev. Dr. Harold N.
Nye will officiate. Interment will be at Middleton.
Mr. Chaney was born Oct. 19, 1902, at Middleton, to Mr.
and Mrs. F. O. Chaney. He attended schools in Middleton
and high school in Boise for a years. He later attended
the College of Idaho and the University of Idaho at Moscow.
With the exception of two years spent in Portland, Ore., he
had lived his entire life in Middleton.
He was baptized in the Baptist Church as a child.
Among his survivors are his mother, Mrs. Amelia Chaney
and a sister, Mrs. Alta Galvin, both of Middleton; a brother,
Orval Chaney, Portland, Ore., five nieces and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1940 and a brother,
Don, 1n 1945.
