Johnathan Melvin
Wilson, 75, 408 Galveston St., died Monday at a local
hospital.
He was born June 8, 1884, at Elly Jay county, Ga.
He moved to Missouri with his parents when he was nine years
old, later moving to Fort Collins, Colo. At the age of
21 he moved to Wilder, where he homesteaded and farmed until
he retired in 1942. He then moved to Caldwell, living
here since that time. He married Margaret Marie Bell in
Boise Dec. 26, 1919. Mrs. Wilson preceded him in death
in 1954.
Survivors include four sons, Donald A. and Melvin E.
Wilson, both of Caldwell. Edward S., Victoria, Texas,
and Pvt. Russel L. Wilson, Camp Pendleton, Calif.; three
daughters, Mrs. Rosa Swan, Mrs. Helen Maxwell and Mrs. Laura
Murry, all of Caldwell; two brothers, Frank Wilson, Wilder,
and Zeb Crawford and Mrs. Lilly Stith, both of Caldwell; and
eight grandchildren. One brother, Thomas Wilson,
preceded him in death.
Services are pending at Peckham-Dakan-Davis chapel. |
