Services for Kenneth E. Burley, 65, of Boise, who died Saturday, Feb. 1, in a Boise hospital of natural causes, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Alden-Waggoner Chapel, Boise. Pastor Harry Wilson will officiate. Graveside services will follow at 12:15 p.m. at the Greenleaf Cemetery. Mr. Burley, a retired barber, was born Feb. 24, 1920, at Norden, Neb., a son of Freeman H. and Clarissa A. Carson Burley. At the age of seven, he moved with his family to Broadus, Mont., and later to Greenleaf. He had owned and operated a barbershop in Boise for 20 years prior to retirement in 1982. Since that time he had done custom carpentry work. He married Marjorie Shaw on Nov. 12, 1960, at Boise. They had made their home in Boise since that time. He is survived by his wife of Boise; two sons, Gale of Boise and Dale of Kuna; a daughter, Kim Madarieta of Eagle; a sister, Florence Wright of Caldwell; two brothers, Bill of Nampa and Marvin of Eagle; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. The family will greet friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Alden-Waggoner Chapel in Boise. |
