Mary J. Cowan Dies Saturday At Homedale |

Mary J. Cowan, 89, died Saturday at her home near Homedale after a short illness. She was born in Peoria, Ill., April 19, 1854, and came to Idaho with her husband, Lucius B. Cowan in 1903. She lived in Nampa for two years before moving to Homedale where she lived until her death. She is survived by two daughters Mrs. Flornece C. Bolton of Homedale and Miss Cecilia M. Cowan, missionary in Free China; and two sons, Luther Cowan of Homedale and William T. Cowan of Portland; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a. m. at Homedale. Burial will be at Wilder. |
