Mrs. Alice Wilson, 74, Rests Beside Daughter on
Funeral services were
held at the Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon for Mrs.
Alice Wilson, 74, who died at her home on Kimball avenue
Friday morning following an illness of several years. A
stroke, the final one of a series, was the immediate cause of
Mrs. Wilson's death.
The Rev. F. E. Springer conducted the services and
burial was in Canyon Hill cemetery beside her daughter, Kate,
who died several years ago in Portland.
Two children survive. They are Nell Wilson, who
holds a position in the News-Tribune office, and an older
brother, Will Wilson of Mountain Home. Both were with
their mother when she died.
The family has resided in Caldwell for 40 years with
the exception of an eight year period when they lived in
Boise. They came to Idaho from Holton, Kansas.
Mrs. Wilson was born in West Virginia.
