Dead at Home
Nelson Russell Van Aller, aged
rancher of the Jordan Valley country, was found dead Tuesday
at his home near Sheaville, Ore. The exact time and
cause of his death have not been determined by county officers
but it is believed that the man, who lived alone, passed away
about two weeks ago. Neighbors report having last seen
him about May 8, at which time he was apparently in good
The body was brought to the Peckham chapel and interment was made
Wednesday afternoon at the Canyon Hill cemetery in Caldwell
with a brief burial service at the grave.
Van Aller was born in New York on August 6, 1860, and has lived in
the Jordan Valley district for the past twenty-seven years.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. J. E. Hedburg of Kuna and a
grandson, Ray Hedburg who resides in Caldwell
