Mrs. Prudence Olsen |
Services for Mrs.
Prudence Olsen, 76, of Caldwell, who died Monday, will be held
at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, at Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel with Rev.
J. B. Greer of the First Brethren Church officiating.
Interment will be in Canyon Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Olsen was born Oct. 11, 1882, at Provo, Utah,
where she was reared and married to Albert H. Olsen Sept. 12,
1889. She moved to Emmett Valley in 1914 where she lived
until moving to Middleton in 1918. She moved to Caldwell
in 1923 where she has since resided. Mr. Olsen died in
1953. A son, Clifford, died in 1944.
She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Bertha Conover
of Springville, Utah, Mrs. Rosetta Pederson of Emmett, Idaho,
Mary Woodson of Great Falls, Mont., Hazel Townsend of
Caldwell, Anna Shaw of Hermiston, Ore., Mildred Gress of Coos
Bay, Ore., Elizabeth Houser of Huntington, Ore.; four
sons, Ole Olsen and Albert Olsen, both of New Plymouth, Harold
Olsen of Caldwell, and Evan Olsen of Huntington, Ore.;
40 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. |
