Parma Boy Killed
When Dragged by
Runaway Colt Sun.

     With his foot caught in the stirrup of his saddle, Robert Harold Hartman, 14, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Hartman, R. 1, Parma, was dragged to his death Sunday afternoon when he lost control of the colt he was breaking and, falling out of the saddle, was dragged a half mile before a neighbor was able to stop the runaway animal.
     The youth died while being brought to a Caldwell hospital.
     His brother, Orville, Jr., and two neighbor boys were with him when the accident occurred.  He is survived by his parents; his brother, Orville; three sisters, Audrey Maxine, Wilma Joyce and Marjorie Ann; grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. M. G. Sonner of Wilder and Mrs. Anna Hartman of Boise.
     Services will be at 10:30 a. m., March 8, at Peckham's chapel, with Rev. Fred Hall in charge.  Interment will be at Tucker cemetery.
