Robert M. Conway

     CALDWELL - Services for Robert M. Conway, 87, Caldwell Route 5, who died in a Nampa nursing home Monday, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Dakan Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Obenchain of the Notus First Baptist Church officiating.  Interment will be at Lower Boise Cemetery.
     Mr. Conway was born Feb. 17, 1880, at Ogden, Utah.  He came to Caldwell with his parents when five years old.  His father was the first telegraph operator in Caldwell.
     He attended school in Caldwell and moved to Notus when his parents homesteaded their present home at Notus.  He married Effie (Frankie) Parrish, Dec. 30, 1905, at Caldwell.  They lived at their present home near Notus for the past 52 years.  He was a retired farmer.  He attended the First Baptist Church in Notus and was a former member of the Notus School Board.
     Survivors are his wife, Effie F. Conway of Caldwell, and a brother, Joe Conway of Heyburn.  Many nieces and nephews also survive.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lavina, a brother, Tom Conway;  and two sisters, Alice Shaver and Hattie Hultz.
