Ruby Cloud

     Graveside services for Ruby O. Cloud, 84, of Caldwell, who died Monday, Oct. 28, at a Caldwell nursing home of natural causes, will be conductged at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Greenelaf Cemetery by the Rev. Paul Goins of the Greenleaf Friends Church, under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel of Caldwell.  Memorial services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Greenleaf Friends Church.
     Mrs. Cloud was born Aug. 11, 1901, in Washington County, Kansas, to Lealdes and Floy Mardock.  She was raised in Kansas and Oklahoma.  She married Ray Cloud on Sept. 11, 1921, in Lipscomb, Texas.  They farmed in Nebraska until moving in 1936 to the Caldwell area, where they farmed and had since resided.  Mr. Cloud died in 1964.
     She was a member of the Greenleaf Friends Church.
     She is survived by four sons, Melvin Cloud and Everett Cloud, both of Madras, Ore., Delmar Cloud of Caldwell, and Erwin Cloud of Molalla, Ore.; three daughters, Velma Fisher of Caldwell, Mary Warren of Greenleaf and Eileen Root of Madras; two sisters, Harriet Winters of Caldwell and Helen Hawthorne of Chadron, Neb.; 26 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandchild.
     Friends may call at the chapel today from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
