Ralph Wiley, 60, of
Nampa Rt. 5, former Caldwell resident died Thursday evening at
a Boise hospital.
He was born Oct. 30 1898, in Wallace, Idaho.
He was reared in northern Idaho and at Spokane, Wash.
He later resided in Portland, Ore., where he owned and
operated a restaurant and came to Caldwell in the late 40's
and owned and operated a cafe. Returning to Spokane
where he resided until three years ago when he returned to
He had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Madge
Whitney of Nampa and Mrs. Sharon Sobireski of Spokane, Wash.;
a brother, Glen Wiley of Seattle, Wash.; two sisters,
Mrs. Madge Myton, Santa Monica, Calif., and Mrs. Luella Kibler
of Lancaster, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the
Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel in Caldwell. The Rev. Teddy
Turner of Nampa will officiate. Interment will be in
Canyon Hill cemetery.
