Funeral services for
Ray Eugene Williams, two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. H. W.
Williams of the Sunny Slope district who was drowned Friday
morning, were conducted Sunday afternoon from the Case funeral
home with Rev. Murphy of Boise in charge. Interment was
made in the Canyon Hill cemetery.
The baby was drowned in a barrel of water in the
door-yard of his home, when he slipped and fell head first
into the barrel. The body was discovered by his mother,
when she came out of the house to look for the child whom she
had left playing in the yard only a short time before.
Mr. and Mrs. Williams applied artificial respiration
until Dr. S. B. Dudley arrived. After working with the
child, the doctor declared that life was extinct.
