Archie Campbell

      Services for Archie Campbell, 77, of Caldwell route 7, who died Wednesday, Dec. 21, in a Nampa hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
      The Rev. Bill Putman of the Sunrise Christian Church, Ontario, Ore., will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Middleton Cemetery.
      He was born April 8, 1906, to Bud and Maude Campbell at Grant City, Mo., where he was reared and educated.  He married Elsie Mae McHenry on Nov. 19, 1925, in Worth County, Mo.
      The couple moved to Middleton in 1928, where they farmed west of Middleton.  In 1960 they moved to the Sand Hollow area north of Caldwell where they had since resided.
      He is survived by his wife of Caldwell; three sons, Charles Arch Campbell of Kirkland, Wash., George Earl Campbell of Canby, Ore., and Bobby Jay Campbell of Tacoma, Wash.; two daughters, Kathleen Elsie Carper of Seattle and Delores Illene Gepford of Oregon City, Ore.; five brothers, Albert and Levi Campbell both of Caldwell, John Campbell of Marsing, George M. Campbell of Modesto, Calif., and Guy Campbell of Middleton; two sisters, Mrs. Don (Verna) Leeper of Caldwell and Mae M. Larsen of Middleton; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
      He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kenny Campbell; and a sister, Mabel McHenry.
      Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Fund or to the Arthritis Foundation.
