William Wooley
Passes Away At
His Home Today

     William Luther Wooley, 83, resident of Caldwell for the past 40 years, died this morning at his home on 1120 Albany street, Caldwell.
     Funeral services are planned for 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Peckham funeral chapel with Dr. H. H. Hayman officiating.  Members of the Oddfellows lodge will hold services at the Canyon Hill cemetery.
     Wooley came to Caldwell in 1903 and for many years worked in this vicinity as a teamster.  He has been a member of the Oddfellows since 1895 and for 13 years was caretaker of the I.O.O.F. lodge here.
     He was born Jan. 1, 1868 at Grundy county, Mo.  At the age of 19 he went to Eugene, Ore., later to Burns where he was married to Cara E. Harris in 1889.
     He is survived by his widow, three sons, William Carey Wooley of St. Louis, Mo., Clyde Alexander Wooley of North Bend, Ore., and Charles Henry Wooley of Caldwell.  He also leaves four grandchildren.
