Terrell Tatum Will be Laid at
Rest in Cemetery Atop
Funeral services for Walter Terrell Tatum, 21-year-old Caldwell man
who was drowned in Boise river Sunday, will be held at the Methodist
church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. C. O. Heath in
charge. Interment will be in Canyon Hill cemetery. The body
will lie in state at the Church Friday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Terrell was born at Springfield, Mo., January 25, 1911.
When he was six years old he moved with his family to Hay, Wash.,
and nine months later came to Caldwell where he has made his home
since that time. He attended grade school and high school,
graduating from the Caldwell high school in 1929. He was a
member of the Baptist church.
He was married November 28, 1931, to Marian Hore,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Hore of Caldwell. For the past
two years he has been employed at the Wilson Mercantile company in
Mr. Tatum is survived by his widow; his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. W. P. Tatum; an 11-year-old sister, Guelda, and a
grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Summers. All are living in
