To request a lookup from any of the references listed below, click on the address of the volunteer and ask politely.
Place your e-mail address in the body of the message, and ask for lookups of specific individuals, not everyone with the same surname.To volunteer to do lookups, send the following information to Nancy Russell - Shoshone County Coordinator:
- your name
- email address
- title of reference
- author of reference
Please keep in mind that, without prior written permission from the author or publisher, lookup volunteers cannot photocopy copyrighted material for you or give extensive quotations.
Shoshone County Prospectors
Susan Copeland, has information from the 1880's to 1940's. It is broken down by Mining District, gives the last name, first name, claim name and filing number (book and page in the County). She also has the ability to determine whether or not the prospector filed alone or with others.
