Research in the Old Northwest Territory
The old Northwest Territory, or "the land north of the River Ohio," is now part of six states: Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. We'll explore migration into the region and research in the component states.

10:25 - 11:30 a.m.
The Mid-Atlantic States: Records & Research
From New York and Long Island, south through Maryland, the Mid-Atlantic states drew a variety of settlers and ethnic groups. State and local-level resources and repositories hold materials of value and import to genealogists with interest in the area, which was the American starting point for a surprising number of families.

Has It Been 72 Years, Already? The 1940 U. S. Census
