   Clarence James Icenogle, 1932-2007, Beardstown
Clarence James Icenogle, 74, of Beardstown, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 24, 2007, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 6, 1932, in Beardstown, the son of Clarence S. and Rena M. Williams Icenogle. He married Patsy Ann Bauser Byus on July 27, 1963, in Beardstown, and she survives.
   He is also survived by five children, Kim (husband, Kenny) Fox, Brian, Teresa Icenogle (companion, Rod Blackwell), Eric (wife, Gwen) and Tiffany Icenogle (companion, Dave Krohe) all of Beardstown; 15 grandchildren, Brandi Jo Riddell, Terri Jo Byus, Michael, Chris and Casey Fox, Lainey Lutkehus, Erika and Adam Blackwell, Kaleigh, Wes, Megan, Mackenzie, Alex and Adriana Icenogle, and Abby Krohe; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Howard (wife, Betty) of Beardstown; and one sister, Etta (husband, Reggie) Robertson of Beardstown. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernie Icenogle an Bob and Claude Williams.
   Mr. Icenogle graduated from Beardstown High School in 1951. After high school, he served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Zellars DD777 from 1952 until 1956. After his honorable discharge, he went on to work for the U.S. Department of Agriculture for 20 years. He then worked as the cemetery sexton for the City of Beardstown. He was a member of the Guthrie-Pierce VFW Post 1239 in Beardstown. He enjoyed attending all community sporting events, having coffee at Hardees and he loved to spend time with his grandchildren and friends.
   Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown, with burial at Beardstown City Cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to sagerfh@casscomm.com.

Sally L. Icenogle - 1934-2002 - Beardstown
   Sally L. Icenogle, 68, of Beardstown, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 25, 2002, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
   She was born January 4, 1934, in Beardstown, the daughter of Albert and AuVerne Williams Shebiel. She married Ernest L. Icenogle in Beardstown and he preceded her in death Sept. 19, 1980.
   She is survived by one son, Timothy L. (wife, Vickie) of Beardstown; two grandchildren; one brother, Larry (wife, Margaret) Wagner of Beardstown; three sisters Mary Alice Varley of Tucson, Ariz., Dorothy (husband, John) Hamm of Browning, and Geraldine Wagner of Beardstown and Long Beach, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, her parents, Clarence and AuVerne Wagner, and her brother Jack Shebiel.
   Mrs. Icenogle graduated from Beardstown High School in the class of 1951. She was employed with the Beardstown School District for several years. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and she loved and adored spending time with her family and friends.
   Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at Beardstown City Cemetery. Family will meet friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown. Memorials are suggested to Beardstown Park District.

ILLIAS, Kris Alan - Journal-Courier, Jacksonville, Illinois, August 3, 2007 - Submitted by Marcia Cox
Kris Alan Illias, 30, of Virginia, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007 at his residence.
   He was born April 2, 1977 in Springfield, the son of Larry and Frances Pitt Illias.
   He is survived by his mother of Virginia, two daughters, Brittany and Catlin Illias, both of Chatham; a brother, Kyle (wife, Lauri) of rural Virginia; and one niece. He was preceded in death by his father.
   Mr. Illias worked as a farm hand on the family farm and as a deck hand for a barge line. He was a graduate of Virginia High School.
   At his request, cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Virginia. The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. Tuesday until the time of services. A private committal service will be held at a later date.    The death of M.H. Ireland occurred Monday, December 16, 1912 at the Central hospital for the insane at Jacksonville, IL, aged 75 years.
