Location: Section 6, Township 5 North, Range 10 West, Montgomery Township (Northeast of Heathsville), Crawford County, Illinois. (GPS: 38.901805, -87.560963) (Google Map) (Hand-drawn map and notes.) Note that the Updike Cemetery in Honey Creek township (to the west) is also sometimes called a Baker Cemetery. The cemetery in Montgomery Township (documented in this file) is the larger of the two.

This cemetery has been surveyed three separate times by people associated with the Crawford County Illinois Genealogical Society. The most recent two results, those of Imogene Baily, Wilma Roesler, Alan Ayres, and Burl Rich are combined here. The oldest known survey, in the 1940s by Mrs. Merle Richards, is also provided here, as it may have had better luck reading inscriptions or may have encountered stones which did not survive to the later survey. The original Roesler survey of this cemetery is also provided online for cross-checking purposes, as an Adobe PDF file.
