About Us 
    "A meeting of those interested in forming a Christian County Genealogical Society met in the home of Betty Orr in August 1983. A public meeting was set for September 11 at the Community Room of the First Trust Bank. Forty five persons signed up as charter members that day. Officers were elected, constitution and by-laws were adopted and Articles of Incorporation were granted from the State dated October 17, 1983.
    The purpose of the Society is to collect, preserve and disseminate genealogical and historical material, especially that which pertains to Christian County and make it available to the public for research."

Meetings:
General Meetings are the 2nd Sunday of

March, June, September and November at 2pm.

Board Meetings are the Last Tuesday 7pm
(All meeting dates subject to change if a Holiday of Event conflicts)

The Genealogical/Historical Library is housed in the Pence Building
at the Christian County Historical Museum
