UNSELL, Frederick or Frederick Unsel, Jane, PA Line, W22472, sol was

b 25 Aug 1765 in Frederick Co MD & he moved with his parents (not

named) about 1770 to Little Wheeling for a short time & his father d

& his mother moved to what later became Washington Co PA & his mother

m there a 2nd time to Peter Kitchel or Kitchello, sol lived near

Wheeling in Washington Co PA at enl & after the Rev he srv under

Gen'l St. Clair in 1791, in 1788 or 1789 sol was living in Harrlson

Co VA & shortly afterwards he returned to Washington Co PA & about

1790-1 returned to Harrison Co VA (with his wife) for 3 or 4 yrs &

later moved to Miami Co OH then moved to Muhlenburgh Co KY then moved

to the White River in IN then moved to dark Co IL where he appi 2 Dec

1833 having lived there 11 yrs & sol d there 11 Sep 1835, sol m Jane

Masters 6 Dec 1789 in Washington Co PA & she was b 17 Mar 1772, wid

appi 10 Oct 1840 dark Co IL & she was there in 1848, sol & wife had

13 children, towit; (1) Margaret b 26 Sep 1790 or 1791 or 1793 (all 3

dates given) & d in Harrison Co VA prior to 1841, (2) Mary b 18 Feb

1795 in VA & she m a Mr. Oxendine & she lived in dark Co IL in 1841,

(3) Henry who d prior to 1841, (4) Jane who d prior to 1841, (5) Ann

or Anna who in 1841 was aged 40 & the wife of a Mr. Fuller & they

were living in MO, (6) Susannah or Susan who in 1841 was aged 38 &

the wife of a Mr. Taylor & they lived in dark Co IL, (7) Jane who in

1841 was aged 36 & the wife of a Mr. Page & they lived in dark Co IL,

(8) Frederick, Jr. b about Jun 1807 & in 1841 lived in dark Co IL,

(9) Katharine who was b in Jul 1809 & the wife of a Mr. Gammon & in

1841 lived in dark Co IL, (10) Phebe b about Jun 1811 & in 1841 lived

in dark Co IL, (11) Peter who d prior to 1841, (12) Mahala or Mehala

b in Sep 1814 & in 1841 was the wife of a Mr. Wallen & (13) James b

in May 1817 & in 1841 lived in dark Co IL, in 1841 a Stephen Oxendine

made aff'dt in dark Co IL & was "connected" to sol's family
