Obituary of Robert Cornwell
 
Thursday, 23 August 1928, Kansas (IL) Journal--Robert Cornwell, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Emory Cornwell of Paris, was drowned about five
o'clock Sunday afternoon at Ormand Beach, Wis., when he was caught in
the undertow as he went to aid Miss Freda Clark, who also drowned.
 
The deceased was born in Kansas, Jan 4 1890 but moved to Paris when
one year old.  He has been employed by the Packard plant in Detroit
for the past three years.
 
He is survived by his parents, one sister, Kate, at home, three
brothers, Earl of Chicago, Paul of Detroit and Ralph of Los Angeles,
California.
 
The funeral service was held at the Christian church in Paris at 2:30
o'clock Wednesday afternoon.  Interment was made in the Kansas
Fairview cemetery.
