Bess M. GILBERT, daughter of the late Mathias and Leoma WELLS WILLIAMS,
was born January 1, 1887, Berry County, Missouri and passed away May 28,
1966 in St. Mary's Hospital, West Palm Beach, Florida.
Widow of the late Harry BeecherGILBERT who preceded her in death
September, 1945; two brothers Curt and Clenn (Buck) WILLIAMS and one
sister Dessie WILLIAMS MURPHY also preceded her in death.
Surviviors includ two daughters:  Mrs. Cass (Thais) GRISSOM of Santa
Maria, California and Mrs. Glenn (Ruth) TIPPETT.  She is also survived
by 6 grandchildren--Glenna Ruth TIPPETT, Henry Beecher TIPPETT, Mrs.
Linda GRISSOM BAIRD, Ruthann GRISSOM, Mary Thais GRISSOM, and Ben Lee
GRISSOM and 1 great grandchild--Wendy Ann TIPPETT.
Mrs. Gilbert accepted Christ at the old Wiley Brick Church near
Salisbury, many years ago.
Pallbearers were nephews of the deceased:  Norman R. GILBERT, Maynard
GILBERT, Jack GILBERT, Marvin GILBERT, Richard GILBERT, and great nephew
Carl GILBERT.
Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery in Westfield, Clark County,
Illinois.
