I am seeking any information on the parents of Garrett BURKETT who was born 22-Mar-1842 in Armstrong County, Pa. He entered the civil war from Clark County, Illinois, in 1862. He lived the rest of his life in Clark County.
William FAHLBUSH and Melvina HUNT came to Clark County, Illinois, around 1836. His daughter Amelia Fahlbush born 16-July-1840 in Auburn Twp, Clark County, Illinois, and married Garrett BURKETT.

They moved to near Casey, Clark, Il in 1854 where he set up blacksmith shop on National Road. They brought her children, Jane B. TROUT, b. 1834, m. 1st William I. WILSON, 2nd Joseph B. COURTNEY, she died 1925 in Coles; Samuel TROUT b. 1837, d. at Gettysburg; George Washington TROUT (my ggrandfather) b. 1838, m. Roxanna Permit MCDANIEL, d. 1922; and Julia B. TROUT b. 1841, m. Roger ROGERS(RODGERS)in 1863. Most interested in contacting MAUK, WILSON, COURTNEY, or ROGERS(RODGERS)descendants who have info Henry (Samuel) and Abigail's children, with the hope of finding more on Henry and Abigail. Want information on John DAVIS, born 1810 in KY., died March 15, 1859 in Clark Co., IL. married Nancy THOREMAN? in 1834 in Edgar Co., IL. They moved to Clark Co. about 1835 and raised 7 children as following: Thomas, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Maria, Sanford, Demanies and Marion. What information I want is names of John DAVIS'parents and siblings and his birthplace (county in KY.) The only clue I have is a note that said on or before 25th of Dec 1859 John DAVIS promised to pay Benjamin and Joshua DAVIS, agents of Peggy DAVIS a sum of $100 and 10% until paid. X signed by John two weeks before his death. Benjamin, Joshua and Peggy are children of Solomon DAVIS of Edgar Co. Your assistance would be appreciated very much.
