Dated 1 Feb 1947. LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT I, ALICE THOMPSON COBURN, 1034 Linden Avenue, Cook County, Wilmette, Illinois, being of sound mind and memory and mindful of the uncertainties of human life, do make, publish and declare this to be My Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills, bequests, and devises by me made. FIRST - It is my will that all my just debts, funeral expenses, and all other charges be paid out of my estate. SECOND - I give, devise, and bequeath all of the remainder of my property, real, personal and mixed, to my beloved brother, Alonzo John Coburn of 1034 Linden Avenue, Wilmette, Illinois. THIRD - I hereby nominate and appoint Miner T. Coburn the executor of this, My Last Will and Testament, and direct that no bond be required for the faithful performance of said trust, and hereby authorize him to compound, compromise, and settle any claim or demand which may be in favor, or against my estate, and to do and perform all things necessary and proper in the premises to carry out this, My Last Will. FOURTH - In the event that my brother, Alonzo John Coburn shall predecease me, then I give, devise, and bequeath all of my property, real, personal and mixed, to my nephew, Miner T. Coburn. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 1st day of February 1947.
