Reuflin, unmarried, residing at 9349 Claremont Ave. of the City of Chicago in the County of Cook and State of Illinois, being of sound mind and memory, do hereby revoke any and all former wills or codicils by me made, and do make, ordain, publish and declare this my last will and testament. FIRST. I direct that my executor hereinafter named, pay all my just debts and funeral expenses as soon after my decease as conveniently may be. SECOND. I direct that before any final distribution of the estate is made, the sum of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) each shall be paid to my sisters Elizabeth Marx and Isabelle Siebeck in recognition of a like sum previously advanced to my deceased sister Mae V. Williams. In the event that Isabelle Siebeck shall predecease me, I hereby give and bequeath the $2,000.00 provided to be given her to my niece Mrs. Evelyn Waechter. In the event that my sister Elizabeth Marx shall predecease me, I hereby direct that the $2,000.00 provided to be given her shall remain a part of my estate, to be distributed as stipulated hereinafter. I direct that that portion of my estate that is composed of U.S. Government Defense and Savings Bonds shall be distributed to the P O D beneficiaries named on the individual bonds. I hereby give, devise, and bequeath all of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real, personal, or mixed, of whatsoever kind or nature and wheresoever situated, of which I may die seized or possessed, or to which I may be entitled at the time of my decease, or which may have lapsed by the prior decease f any beneficiaries, as follows: 1. To my sister Elizabeth Marx, one third. In the event that she shall predecease me I direct that one half her share shall be transferred, paid over and delivered to my sister Isabelle Siebeck; and one fourth shall be transferred, paid over and delivered to each of my nephews, Edward R. Williams and Lester F. Williams. 2. To my sister Isabelle Siebeck, one third. In the event that she shall predecease me, then I give, devise and bequeath her share to her daughter, Evelyn Waechter. 3. To my nephews Edward R. Williams and Lester F. Williams, one third, to be divided equally between them. In the event that either nephew shall predecease me, I direct that his share shall be paid to his surviving wife, to be used solely for the support and education of their mutual children. I hereby appoint Edward R. Williams the executor of this, my last will and testament, and I direct that he shall receive the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00) for his services hereunder, and I further direct that no surety bond shall be required of him. In the event that he shall predecease me, or shall resign, or shall become incapable of acting as such executor, I appoint his brother Lester F. Williams as executor under the conditions stipulated in this paragraph above. I hereby authorize and empower my executor, or his successor, in his absolute discretion, to sell, exchange, convey, transfer, assign, mortgage, pledge, invest or reinvest the whole, or any part of my real or personal estate, and I direct that in case my executor or his successor sell or convey any of my estate, he may do so for cash or on credit, or partly for cash and partly for credit, as in his sole discretion shall seem best. Distribution hereunder may be made in cash or in kind and the values placed by my executor as the property to be distributed shall be conclusive and binding on all beneficiaries.
