Honor Flight
The Captain Zeally Moss Chapter, along with the Daughters of the American Revolution, participated in The Land of Lincoln’s Honor Flights Program honoring local Veterans. This campaign was designed to raise $1000,00 in funds for the Honors Flight Program and with our help raised $1260.00. Thank you very much for your involvement.
Wreaths Across America
At Springdale Cemetery in Peoria, IL, the cemetery of our namesake, Captain Zeally Moss, Chapter President Mike Tubbs and Registrar Tom Ashby presented the National Society, Sons of the American Revolution, President General's Proclamation, at the ceremony marking the laying of the wreaths as part of the Wreaths Across America program. The ceremony was well attended by members of each branch of the service as well as a uniformed military color guard representing each branch of the service. The Mayor of Peoria was in attendance as well as Legion members and other veterans.
