MEMBERSHIP

ANNUAL DUES - Calendar year - Jan 1st thru Dec 31st:

Individuals, libraries or societies	$15.00
Family Membership(2 adults-same household)	$20.00
Additional Memberships for family members	$5.00

*New Memberships or Renewals received after April 1st - add $3.00
for mailing of past newsletters and quarterlies.

LIFE MEMBERSHIPS:

Individual Life Membership	$300.00
Family Life Membership(2 adults-same household)	$500.00

CHANGE OF ADDRESS:It is the member's responsibility to notify the society of address changes. The society does not pay to receive address corrections from the postal service. To avoid the extra cost to yourself as well as to ensure prompt receipt of all mailings, PLEASE send notice of any change of address as soon as possible. Back issues of the Quarterly are available at the cost of $3.00 per issue plus $1.25 postage &handling

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS Members receive"Central Illinois News"(Bi-monthly newsletter)
   Provides meeting dates, speakers, new acquisition lists, computer &     other research tips, pub sales, conference news &     special events.
Members receive "Central Illinois Genealogical Quarterly"
    Contains interesting articles about central Illlinois, Bible records, book reviews, etc
Members may place a free query in each Quarterly
Members may submit materials for possible publication in the Quarterly
Members receive free access to the extensive (always growing) society library
Research services for a modest fee if you are unable to visit the DGS Library.
Opportunity to help others with their research, either in the library or as an off site volunteer.
Opportunity to attend classes, workshops, & seminars relating to genealogical research.
Periodic meetings are held with speakers and research time. (Announced in Newsletter)

CHECKOUT PRIVILEGES:
A large part of the holdings circulate to MEMBERS (for a period of two weeks)
