 Welcome to the Illinois Department of the Daughters of the Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861-1865, otherwise recognized as IL Dept. DUVCW.

The Department of Illinois received its charter on May 3, 1885.

 Our mission is to widely spread the teachings of patriotism, that those in this broad land of ours will so live that in peace or in war, there shall be no stain on "The Flag Our Fathers Saved."
