Membership is by calendar year, January through December. Each membership receives four quarterlies and eight newsletters per year.
The purpose of the EFFINGHAM COUNTY GENEALOGICAL AND HISTORICAL SOCIETY is to encourage people of all ages and walks of life to discover, collect and preserve genealogical and historical data connected with their ancestors who were early pioneers of this county, state and nation.
Regular meetings are held the first Monday of
each
month, unless otherwise designated, at 7:00 PM at the Helen Matthes
Library
in the Consuella Luttrell meeting room, Effingham, Illinois.
