I have been having trouble finding any information on my Grandfather
Adam Shaffer. I believe he was born in Cass Co.M. but grew up in and around
Fayette Cty. My sister told me that when Adam was living with her and our
parents he was receiving an "oldage Pension". Has anyone ever heard of
this and where would I go to find records of persons collecting this monthly
check? I thought maybe that it might hold some information, as where the
person was born, parents, etc.
Any help would be appreciated.
