Nancy J. (JOHNSON) CROTZER

Mrs. Nancy Jane Crotzer died at her home near Vera Monday, aged 50 years, 4 months and 10 days. Her funeral was conducted Tuesday by Rev. Edwin Kitt, the Hagarstown minister. Nancy Jane JOHNSON was born in Annapolis, Crawford county, Ill., May 5th, 1866. In 1883 she was married to Dulgar Doolittle. To this union one child was born, Edward DOOLITTLE. In the year 1887 she was again united in marriage, this time to Gilbert CROTSER, who died ten years ago. To this union were born ten children, three of whom died in infancy. Those surviving are George of Vandalia, Mrs. Nancy Jackson of Niantic, Ill., Fred of Vera, Mrs. May Beckham of Vera, Charlie, Frank and Julia at home. Besides the children she leaves one brother, Wilson Johnson, of Vera, one sister, Mrs. Sarah Johnson of Decatur, also six grandchildren, six nieces and three nephews, and a host of friends and neighbors who mourn her loss.
