  Darrell HAMILTON Darrell M. Hamilton, 62, of Vandalia died at 4:40 p.m. Friday, Oct.19, in Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Berry and Hohlt Funeral Home, Vandalia, the Rev. Dr. Archie Brown officiating.  Burial was in Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia.
 
Mr. Hamilton was born in Loogootee April 1, 1911, a son of Fred and Osceola (Mahon) Hamilton.  He and Verna Crotser were married August 17, 1932, at Salem. He was a member of the Vandalia Moose Lodge. Surviving are his wife; daughters, Mrs. Donna Smith of Vandalia, Mrs. Charlotte Cosselman of Mound, Minn., Mrs. Marilyn Patterson of Mt. Vernon; sons, Robert of Vandalia, Gene of Minooka, Jack of Mt. Vernon; mother of Vandalia; sisters, Rochelle Hamilton, Mrs. Helen Smith, both of Vandalia, Mrs. Frances Wolff of Centralia; brothers, Myron of Panama City, Fla., Charles, Richard, Fred, all of Vandalia; seven grandchildren.
