Josephine Watters Grace (1942)

M rs Grace died 9 days after sister.

SPARKS HILL, Ill. — Josephine Watters Grace was not able to attend sister's Funeral

Mrs. John Grace aged 80, of Sparks Hill was eating at the table at Earl Love's home when word of the fatal accident suffered by her sister, Mrs. George Robertson, reached them 10 days ago.

Mrs. Grace had been in ill health, and hearing the news she pushed back her chair and ate no more.

Her condidion became worse and she was unable to attend her sister;s funeral.

Mrs. Grace died one week and two days after her sister's death last Thursday.

Mrs. Josephine Watters Grace was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garland Watters, and was born in Hardin County. Her husband died 8 or 10 years ago. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Arch Johnson in St. Louis and her two sons in Hardin County, Roy Grace and John Grace Jr. with whom she had lived. Her step-mother, Mrs. Ann Watters lives in Elizabethtown.

Funeral services for her were held last Friday with burial in Love Cemetery.
